Keeping the cattle safe

The aim of the project is to facilitate the introduction of cattle grazing onto the Fell by erecting fencing along the site boundary. Grazing by cattle is the preferred management option for restoring heathland and this project will enable the Fell to be grazed for the first time in over100 years.
